Herbaciarnia Czarka
Truly a hidden gem (seriously, it’s hard to find even when you know where it is), the Herbaciarnia Czarka is a must see for any tea aficionados. It is the best tea room Krakow has to offer, and the best one I have ever been to worldwide.

Herbaciarnia Czarka Tea Room Krakow Setting ★★★★★
Located in a basement in Krakow’s Old Town district, the tea shop’s soft relaxing atmosphere is perfect for a tea drinking session whether it’s solo, as a couple or between friends.
The sitting areas are many, but the venue can be a bit crowded in the winter. I recommend arriving early to get the best seats.

The Tea & Beverage Selection ★★★★★
One of the most complete and high quality selection I have ever seen: Black, Green, White, Yellow, Oolong, Pu er and even Matcha… there is bound to be something to your liking.
The only difficulty will be to choose, but the staff is very knowledgeable and speaks great English. Allow me to recommend the White Pu Er “Ya Bao Yesheng” as it’s one of the best teas I ever had.
The menu is in English and each tea is detailed, with the taste and the number of brews it is suited for. It is also possible to buy the tea loose leaf, as well as anything you’d need to brew it.

Conclusion & Overall Mark ★★★★★
Simply among the best tea houses in the world, I always spend at least an entire afternoon at Herbaciarnia Czarka whenever I visit Krakow. If you have a bit of time to spare while visiting this great city, do give it a try.
There is very little choice food wise though, so make sure to have eaten before.
